The Wesley Group Commitment

 1.        Attendance

Each person is a unique expression of God and their absence will affect the whole group. Group members are asked to make every effort to be present at the agreed upon times.

 2.        Confidentiality

What is said during meetings is not shared outside the Wesley Group unless given specific advance permission of the participants involved.

 3.        Accountability

Members are accountable to become what God has designed them to be and help others do the same.

 4.        Authenticity

Members are asked to be honest about their walk with God, and strive to be open to the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

 5.        Sensitivity

Each person must be sympathetic to the needs of other members of the group. They should encourage each other, while respecting their individual right to remain silent.

 6.        Prayer

Members are asked to pray for other members of the Wesley Group, and rest in the knowledge that they are also being prayed for themselves. Wesley Group members are also expected to pray for the entire Wesley Group Ministry and Epworth United Methodist Church, its Pastors, Staff and Laity Leadership.

“Your strong love for each other will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”  John 13:35
